What would you like to see in 2015?

Strelets have provided some excellent sets and looking forward to more figures with character in the future. I would love to see some Portuguese Napoleonic Cazadores in Stovepipe shako as nobody does them in 1/72nd scale.

What would other sets can people suggest?

Re: What would you like to see in 2015?

For new sets I suggest...

1. Tank Mark V - there is none in 1/72 plastic

2. BL 60pdr Mk1 on Mk1 or Mk2 Carriage, and Limber

3. WW1 Serbian Infantry, early war (first few weeks)

but I'll be happy if the stuff I mention in the thread directly below this one gets released, ie Strelets WW1 guns, Master Box's MkII Female, and Roden's FWD Lorry and RR armoured car.

Re: What would you like to see in 2015?

I think a good project for Strelets would be World War I Command Sets.
The Russian Command set could have Czar Nicholas and his son Alexi in Cossack
uniform reviewing the troops. The British set could have Sir John French,
Douglas Haig, and other senior officers (maybe a Highlander in a kilt with field glasses and a walking stick). The French could have Foch, Petain, Galleini. The Germans could have Hindenburg, Ludendorff, etc. There are
endless possibilities.
I'd also like to see Strelets re-release their Normans and Anglo-Saxons.

Re: What would you like to see in 2015?

I would like to see Strelets team expand their sledge team sets with
Mounted French Line Chasseurs-a- Cheval in winter dress and Mounted Russian
Cossacks in winter dress. I'd also be happy with any additions to their
North American War of 1812 range.

Re: What would you like to see in 2015? announced and unannounced

of the announced stuff I want to see the WWII 1941 American sets and the American War of 1812 set in 2015.

Unannounced,if there is time, I agree with Bert: Pirates. 18th century pirates and Brit sailors and 16th-17th century Buccaneers and Spaniards.

Re: What would you like to see in 2015? announced and unannounced

New sets
WW1 Serbian Infantry 1914

WW1 Austrian Cavalry -Hussars and Dragoons 1914

WW2 Hungarian Army Battle of Budapest

Crimean War- Sardinian Regular Infantry

Crimean War -Transport sets

Announced sets

WW1 Austrian Honved

RTW Romanian Infantry (Artillery and Cavalry sets would also be great)

WW2 US Army 1941

Re: What would you like to see in 2015?

WW1 Serbian infantry (1914)

WW2 artillery crews: British (long trousers, rolled-up sleeves, extra heads), French, German (one set in ankle boots, one in jack boots), Italian

SCW infantry in Spanish granadero breeches, Isabelino cap and with rolled blanket / coat around the body

Re: What would you like to see in 2015?

WW1 Engineers/sappers/medical - wiring parties, stretcher parties, trench diggers, medical etc. The essential soldiers so often over looked. only three Vcs with bars and two of them were medics!

Re: What would you like to see in 2015?

MUCH more American 1812 sets; US Cav, artillery, regulars(all in BLUE!), Indians, pirates, more militia:some uniformed, etc!

Re: What would you like to see in 2015?

WWII BEF - we can't be left to rely on Zvezda Art of Tactics minisets!

I sent the same idea to Plastic Soldier company. I recieved a reply indicating that this is being seriously considered and keep looking this year.

Until recently 1939 - 1941 has been mainly ignored by the leading companies - especially the BEF, French. A few more different WW2 could only be welcomed.
A Vichy set(s) for the Middle East / North Africa would fill in a wide gap and would highlight the forgotten battles that took place between the Allies and the Vichy forces.

It was an excellent idea to produce the German police battalion but should also do a Soviet NKVD set.

Re: What would you like to see in 2015?

That's interesting about possible PSC plans, although I find the heads on their figures somewhat oversized.
