there is also pictures of landsknechts artillery and something who looks like gerdames but are they from Redbox.this site is awesome.i go there everyday
It would be reassuring to get some news on the Jacobite range, artillery cavalry, and more infantry.
More good news, Ottoman Arty!
I disagree about one point you've made—I hope they (Red Box) do NOT get
into Napoleonics, or WWII. There are way too many figures being produced for
those eras already.
I hope Red Box continues with more eras that no one else seems to want to
bother with. In any case, at least complete a good line on the Italian Wars
before moving on.
I've seen the pics for the Landsknecht artillery somewhere, but Gendarmes?
Where? How about a link to those supposed pics.
If you go futher down(long way down )you see more pics of artillery in the start of the page 18 nov you see some pictures of figures among them a pictures of a green landsknechts artillery man and a pictures of another green figures for me this looks like a french gerdames dont you think it looks like it is the same producer
sorry forget this is the link to the page
lots of pictures of future stuff
Thanks for the link.
Oh,yeah! A French Gendarme with pike, on foot, no less. I'll be ****ed!
That's unexpected. I'm not sure how they'd work in a wargame situation
but, it looks good, really good, nonetheless. I hope to see some mounted options
I've still not been able to locate any Red Box Landsknechts or Swiss at any stores here in the Midwest USA. I hope they arrive soon or I may be forced to re-up my PayPal!
You've just made my day! Even though they may not be perfect for
the Napoleonic era, in my opinion they're close enough. Are you
familiar with Dr. Chris Flaherty's Ottoman Uniforms Website, you can
compare them for yourself. Here is the link:
At least they'll suffice till someone does come out with a proper
Napoleonic Ottoman Empire Artillery set.
