*** Wish List Compilation ***

OK Strelets 1/72 Figurine Dreamers, Following is the updated “Wish List Compilation” of suggested future sets by Strelets-R’s Forum Members simply for fun as “Dreamers” - The world needs more Dreamers. So everyone is invited to make their request and yours will be added.

Three new thoughts sent in were for “PRE-HISTORICS”, “FANTASY”, & “MY DREAM ARMY.”

Some serious 1/72 Dreamers with the guts to say “Yes” and speak out so far are: RCD, Arlin, Bert, Colin D., Britsfan, Graham Korn, Pa, Cappy, bluecher, SteveO, Pete, Mako, Martin_HY, Ian Bruce, Andrew Hughes, Misteredd, and tom s, B-, Paul K., Jerzy, Umpapa, AlexK, FoxtrotPapaRomeo, john the red, Tom Williamson, Pedro, CC, Tolly, celtic warrior, Brian, Alex M, CPN, GC. (Cheers & Good on you!)

I consolidated the Wish List Threads from January 11, 2014, March 20, 2014, and April 4, 2014 and requested those be deleted by S*R. I did my best to include and credit all those Collectors / Fans who unselfishly took the time to reply and participate. If I missed you, tell me and you will be enlisted, unless you prefer to remain anonymous – Just like the French Foreign Legion / Legionne Etrangere – That’s OK too!

P.S. – There was such original “vocal creativity” for 1/72 Soft Plastic Figurines that I had to begin a “PRE-HISTORICS, FANTASY & MY DREAM ARMY” Section to Begin the Lists.

Please keep suggesting new additions as they occur to you. Any new “Thoughts”, “Dream Sets”, or just “Gosh I wish I had … “ = Fun, I suppose!

Re: *** Wish List Compilation ***

Awesome work on the wish-list mate!

As someone who suggested a few of the following:

EARLY / MIDDLE PERIOD SAMURAI (10TH-14TH CENTURY)
• All Samurai Warrior Sets

11TH - 14TH CENTURY SAMURAI (GENPEI WAR, YUAN DYNASTY INVASIONS ETC.)
• 13th Century Sung Dynasty Chinese Infantry and Artillery
• 13th Century Yuan Dynasty as above

I think they could be consolidated under a single heading of "MEDIEVAL FAR EAST" or something similar:

• 10th-14th Century Samurai Horse, Foot, Heroes, Attendants and Monks (Genpei War, Yuan Invasions, Nanbokuchō War etc.)
• 13th Century Sung Dynasty Chinese Infantry and Artillery
• 13th Century Yuan Dynasty Sino-Mongol (as above)

Re: *** Wish List Compilation ***

Portuguese Cazadores in light brown sounds good to me especially if they are as good as the British in greatcoats.

Re: *** Wish List Compilation ***

I like the 20th century French subjects on this list. This is an area that is lacking in the hobby. I especially like the French paras for Indochina. For a while, I considered using the ESCI WW2 French Soldiers for Indochina, since they have an eclectic mix of equipment, and I figured that the troops in Indochina would still be using various WW2 surplus items since they were probably last in line when it came to equipment and supplies, but a dedicated set of Paras and/or FFL would be awesome.

Re: *** Wish List Compilation ***

im still sticking to some decent sets of renaissance/30 years war pikemen, preferably ring hands.
ive been liking the new fantasy sets by alliance,so id like some riders of rohan sets.which of course could be used for dark age cavalry as well.

Re: *** Wish List Compilation ***

Very good list.

Forgot to add so PULP interwar/WW2 figures:
- civilians (doubling as civilians in WW2)
- gansters and mobsters, US/Europe.
- Tong/Asiatic/Yakuza gangsters
- US policemen
- civilian/nazi zombies
- hooded cultists, also sacrificing
- and ... pulp heroes sets (can be overpriced) : brave adventurers/anthropologist/archeologist, elder professor, their loyal native friend, The Great White Hunter Jumanji style (cork helmet and elephant rifle), evil aristocrat (top hat&tails, tuxedo/white tie), detective, reporter with flash camera, damsel in distress (chained to chair), damsel before sacrifice, shaman/witchdoctor during sacrifice, masked Shadowlike avenger with rapier and revolver, crazy scientist. Extra point for extra heads in top hats, fedoras, fez, turban, African mask and cork helmet to let some conversion.
Maybe even robot servants, trained chimpanzee, Frankenstein's monster, Predator etc. (There is enough ghosts, Yetis/Saskwatch, vampires and gorrillas already)

Here is my pulp list:
