British in overcoats question

Could these figures be used in India for the earlier conflicts there?I have seen various types of shakos worn but never any in a Belgic shako.I was just curious if these figures would fit in. Thank You to all in advance for your help on this. Cappy

Cappy, it was probably worn, but by the time of the first Afgan war (1839) it had been replaced by a tapered shako
