Strelets - How about a 203-мм гаубица обр. 1931 г. (Б-4)

I love the look of these 8" Soviet guns and think they're a great candidate for the Arms Range.

How about it?

Well done PDA , now WW1 or WW 2 or both ?

Definitely not WW1, although the carriage above the trail reminds me of the British WW1 9.2in Gun.

I checked the Russian Wikipedia and it seems to say that the idea was proposed in 1920, but development only started in 1926 and the first prototype wasn't ready until 1931:

The Russian Wikipedia article seems to have more detail than the English Language Wikipedia one:

...Hmm my Russians not so good, now I have seen photos of this gun being used in the battle of Berlin, so WW2 I would buy it, and I suspect everyone who has purchased WW2 Germans and Russians would too.

The same chassis was used for three different barrels of different calibers, the 203mm being the most common. Post-WWII Soviet Army used a wheeled version. So plenty of options or conversions.
