The first sets haven't come out yet

WWI German and Austrian heavies would be the logical next step.

The "next step" has been announced on the side of the new boxes, it is WW1 and RCW tanks; a Medium B, a St Chamond, and a Schneider CA. See this thread.

You are not wrong - A005/6/7. I thought these three were part of the "Arms" launch. I actually commented on these 3 back on August 14th. If that threesome are the next step then the step after the next one should be German and Austrian heavies and that would also give us some different gun crews as well.
