Out of interest only, who was JOK married too, and was she also a performer, what happened to her after JOK was taken from us, I am amazed that none of this is on the web site, and is it true that Dennis Knight was a trained by the great JOK

Johnny O'Keefe was married twice, the first time to Marianne Renate Willinzik (hairdresser, m. 1958, div. 1966) then to Maureen Joan Maricic (fashion consultant, m. 1975). None of them were performers.
Marianne remarried but unfortunately recently succumbed to cancer. She is mother to Johnny Jnr., Victoria and Peter.

J.O'K never trained anyone, but if any artists were on his show, he would insist they were professional and sometimes gave pointers to them of what to do at the time. If any artist needed 'training' as such, he would not perform with them.
Some artists were so in awe of him, they copied everything they could and in this way, they maybe some of them see that as being trained.
