Re: JOK General questions

Hello Aaron,

Yes just like you, there are many who missed out on seeing the great J.OK!

He ius buried in the family plot area at the Northern Suburbs Hospital on Delhi Rd Epping a suburb of Sydney.

The play 'Shout' took a lot of creative liberties in its writing and much is not correct in fact. It was however an entertaining play.

A new large statue was also unveiled recently at the border of NSW and QLD at Tweed Heads/Coolangatta.

The best and most honest book of his life and career overall is 'The Wild One' The Life and Times of JOhnny O'Keefe by Damian Johnstone. It is available on our OnLine Store with other books at..

The book you speak of was by his first wife (the late) Marianne who was a caring wife, mother and ex-wife. Whilst she may have had her views of which she is entitled to, we find it hard to see her portray J.O'K in any other way than through her own personal experiences.

We are also releasing a DVD in the latter part of this year about J.OK

We hope you continue your interest in J.O'K and the eraly Australian Rock'n'Roll era and it's legends.

See our new site which is still under construction..

also another Aussie Legend still alive and kicking..
