I have just dragged out of MSA that the proposed amendment to GR J.5.14.3 [which would have required our cars to all be fitted with brake and tail etc lights] has been referred back by the MSA Executive Committee to the MSA Technical Advisory Panel for 're-drafting' following extensive representations by a number of affected Clubs including ours.

Accordingly there will be no amendment to that Regulation for 2011; we will be watching for publications to consultation in 2011 for 2012 however; provided of course that it makes it into the public domain for that purpose....
