At the AGM yesterday I was asked to repost what I communicated in December 2016 regarding towing eyes - so here it is!
Towing Eye Regulations - Update
Following my previous posting I have been in contact with MSA Technical and I'm pleased to report that I now have it in writing from them that we are exempt from the regulations in the same way as a single seater.
Their words are as follows;
"I can confirm that - subject to having a suitable towing point being clearly identified - the clubman cars would be exempt from the towing eye regulations. "
Good to see so many people at the AGM and looking forward to seeing lots more when the season eventually starts!
