In case you have not spotted it in MSA UK communiques, in 2018 all FHR devices must carry the MSA Approval sticker. The Cost on inspection and application will be £2.50. This applies an identical principle to the Regs re crash helmets. The sticker is however different. Note however that although the sticker may be applied by the scrutineer this will not verify the security of the device as such, merely that it appears to conform to the relevant Standard by its markings. So risk will always remain with the competitor.
CSP 2 Engines
Although the Championship Regs have yet to be published (will be soon), following on from the decisions made and published in October we have the following for 2018:
