It is with great sadness that I have to tell you all that Paul Hornig died in August this year.
Older register members will probably remember him well. He was an engineer running his own company (Prototec) until he voluntarily liquidated it and retired to Peterborough.I first met him many years ago when he assisted Mike Sinclair Johnston at Clubmans meetings. After Mike moved on Paul assisted me and others at race meetings over several years.
He could often be seen in the paddock glass in one hand and bottle of wine in the other offering refreshment to whoever he happened to be talking to. He was always ready to help and offer very well-informed advice.
He was one of life's characters and I will certainly miss him and I am sure many others as well.
