With thanks to Richard for the introduction and Pete telling me how fast the car is.
No pressure on me to give it the beans from the off then.
I owned the Mk11b for around 2 years, mainly sprinting it.
A really fun car that I should have kept.
I have raced a variety of cars from cars powered by car engines, 2 powered by bike engines and an insane Vauxhall powered Mini
This season has been sat out due to a house move and now the building of a new garage for the Mk26.
Between now and season start 2017 I am going to need lots of seat time and advice.
Even with that I have little doubt that race 1 will be an enjoyable challenge.
Well done Jack. I am now plouging through all five garages and my home office to find extra spare parts, equipment instruction manuals etc. Does anyone want my collection of Clubmans newsletters from the 80 and 90s that Allan Alphick left for me with the car in 2000? Jack, would you like them? Therev would be some fun items to reproduce in current newsletters for nostalgia's sake.
