Pinto engine Sports 2000 cars.... you know, those rear engined all enveloped things. Look a bit like a Proto or EBX, Gem, Vision etc., that sort of thing ..

Am I correct in thinking that Classic Clubmans as rep' by the HSCC emigrants didn't want a Cup car or Proto car to be racing with them on the basis of dilution of the mudguards ethos with all enveloped cars? Or am I getting old (but thankfully not cynical, yet).

Purely idle thought is that If the 2 were still under one roof then we could put out 2 grids in excess of 20 cars at each event ...
