Monaco Historic GP

Ray has got an entry in the F. Junior race at Monaco with the Mk2 Mallock, it is two weeks before the GP. Ray will be racing on the 21st May in a heat and if he qualifies he will be racing on the Sunday as well.
This is to emulate Arthur racing there in 1963 and I was a 16 year old mechanic! The race was won by Jackie Stewart, Arthur unfortunately had a trailing arm failure which resulted in him spinning up the steps of the Hotel de Paris!

We are staying at Menton which is a 10 min train ride away. Currently 8 Clubmans-related guys are coming down for a jolly, hope to see some more of you there.

Re: Monaco Historic GP

That will be a weekend to remember - I wish I was going to be there....:-)

Re: Monaco Historic GP

Ray had a unbelieveable result coming 3rd from a grid of 43. Ex clubmans racer Roy Millbank joind them while they were over there.
Graeme Smith also really did well fininshing 12th
