Quick news update:
Silverstone on June 1st has 33 entries to date. A few notable Classic drivers missing, which is a shame because lap records will be set - perhaps for ever. There are three father and son combinations, one brother combination, and one husband and wife team - watch for media interest in our Silverstone entry. Croft has extra bonus monies from Paul Gibson's own pocket to enable £125 to be paid to every driver who goes through scrutineering there. This is extra to the three race bonus monies of £125 being paid after race one at Silverstone, and again after race two at Croft (every three races), plus, as usual, the £25 cash that goes with our Clubmans Register Driver of the Day awards.
The last nine sets of the Dunlop tyres are now allocated to King Henry's Taverns entrants of EVERY class - disappointing that the HSCC Classic rep' chose not to sign-up with Dunlop at the time of the contract, perhaps our joint buying power could have created a sustainable supply.
