Brian as Harty said the issue is one of timing because all relevant staff were at Goodwood wef Weds last week and of course entries had not closed at that point therefore I would anticipate that they would want to undertake all mailing for the entire event in one hit.

Their faith in Royal Mail must be higher than mine........

I hope they have time to warn Jonathan Palmer's staff to expect a few competitors without passes.......
