im fairly new to hunting so is my bro in law we go out together but we struggle to shoot anything, iv tried frozen chicken for the crows whilst im in a hide, thats at least 6 times iv been out and not a dickie bird pardon the pun. and the squirrels just run as soon as they see us, its so disheartning, any info or tips would b well appreciated

your in quite a tricky spot there mate. have you tried decoys, theyre great at bringing in crows and magpies, especialy if you put some offal in the center. you can also decoy pigeons, make use of freshly harvested crops as thats were youll find woodies naturaly. as for sqidges or squirrels opatunistic hunting is the best way to get them but 1 method a gamekeeper i know uses bird feeders to keep them away from the pens. try that to get them in a certain area

The crow alone is fine- the magpies go mad if they see one on their patch. As for pigeons, get a pack of about 12 and put them in a wide V shape, with the point facing into the wind
