i have a question, if i zero in my scope at 10 yards, do i have to lure/follo my prey till its 10 yards away then shoot?

Re: zeroing in a scope

Basically, yes. 10 yards is a very short distance, and you will be lucky to get within 10 yards of anything. Zero it to about 20 yards or a bit more. If the scope cannot deal with that, get a better one! . Although if you are a good judge of distances, you can aim up or down the central crosshair according to the distance, but work this out on targets first.
