can any one help, i have been on many shoots in the past couple of weeks and every time i have just managed to get my self in what i would call range ( 25 - 20 ft )of my quarry normally rabbits and wood pigeons. i take my shot and nothing seems to go down. i just get a puff of feathers and it flys off, could you recomened me a good pellet brand. i am shooting a 2.2 12ft pound smk air rifle. also i would like to know the killing range of a air rifle with this power. any suggestions welcome cheers
What is your main interest. pellet type and killing range
Right. For hunting, Logun penetrators are incredible but expensive (400 for 10 quid). Also, I know what you mean about taking the shot and them flapping off- aim just a little above the pigeon, as often they have enough reaction time to get off the ground as the pellet is speeding towards them- good luck!
