i am lookin for a new air rifle. I am 14 and own a bsa lightning xl but want something that i can use with open sights against crows (close range) or maybe longer- is open sights a good choice?? would it be better?? does anyone have any suggestions??

Mmm...it wouldn't be better in terms of accuracy. What sort of rifle are you looking for- pcp,spring,etc. What ever you go for, get the carbine version as these will be lighter
