Hi, I mostly get to hunt rabbits around my local area but we also have large populations of Rooks, Crows, Magpies and Wood pigeon. I want to know how I can get into a position to legally hunt these too. Also how do I stand if a friend has asked me to exterminate a wood pigeon population for him? Thanks for any input.

Sorry, but there are some basic misunderstandings here . You can hunt all of those without any 'legal positionings' at all. As for a friend, you can shoot woodies on his land as long as the owner of the land (parents probably) give his/her permission. Put simply, ask your friend to ask his/her parents to shoot them.

Seeing as said friend is retiring in October I think its unlikely that his parents would have any view on the matter but I could try and organise a psycic reading Thanks for your input though. Just bought a B4 underlever and scoped it for the job.
