it cud of been cus ur under age maybe the pellets are going out of ur land it cud be one of them but i think if its not and its just cus of that mad bird lover then u might get it back on a warnin.
yeah callum your right, just got back on a warning, the officer said it was because i shot a feral pigeon, which he seemed to think were protected by the wildlife conservation act, despite the fact that all the research i have done says otherwise.
i pointed this out to him at which point he said "well im not going to argue with you".
i have my rifle back no un-scaved so im happy again

hi joe sorry to here your bad news.
you havn.t stated how old you are because the law is very strict on the age limit ie was you under age to shoot on your own.
when you shot that pigeon you shot out of what is known as your privacy zone you should only shoot within your own bounday and you pellett should not exeed that. thats the ( law ) and how did you know it wasn.t a homing pigeon that belongs to some one
what you need to do is go the police with one your parents and see if you can have it back reassuring them it wont happen again and only shoot targets with a suitable backs stop so it stops the pellett from going beyond your boundary.
