I just bought a used 2007 Piper boat with a very old bow thruster battery that needs replacing. I think that the charging voltage to the bow thruster battery is the same as to the leisure batteries although I may be mistaken. If I’m correct however, I don’t know how I can replace the battery to the bow thruster without compromising the charge to the leisure batteries because they will be different makes sizes and ages. Do I have to replace all the batteries so they are the same or is the circuit wired so the bow thruster charge is separate from the leisure battery circuit charge? Thanks or your advice.
