He was the pilot of the helicopter that crashed outside of Walls, South Dakota on Oct 9, 1971 and survived. A dear friend was killed in that crash, Larry D. Hughes. His family was told no survivors and everyone died instantly.......After finding the article concerning the crash on this sight and that there was a survivor I would like to know the actual details.
