My name is Jon Jackson (retired USAF in Albuquerque). I found your passport and "vital records" certificate in the middle of the street at Candelaria & Toreador (east of Tramway) on Tuesday morning, 18 Aug, when I was out jogging. The passport is in perfect condition and the "vital records" certificate just shows normal wear and tear. That passport photo matches yours on your Facebook page. I have them in my possession. I want to get them back to you.

If I don't hear from you in the next day or so (today is Thurs, 20 Aug), I will try to take them to the Kirtland AFB CBPO (base personnel) so they can get them to you (but if you're retired it may not work -- I can always send them to the U.S. passport people, but then they may get lost in the D.C. bureaucracy).

I also sent you this email to your Facebook page (with the Blackhawk avatar), but since I am not a "friend" it may not get to you.

Good news. I just handed Scott back his passport a few minutes ago. Thanks to Jim the webmaster for making that phone call to him this morning. Case closed.
