Deke has inoperable liver cancer that has metasticised. The specialist said it was only a matter of weeks. My parents have brought him home to be pampered and kept comfortable until the end. They are devastated as am I. I'm so glad we got to see him over Thanksgiving.

This is terrible news! It happened so quickly and is shocking. I'm glad you got to see Deke at Thanksgiving. I pray Deke will not suffer and that his passing will be peaceful. Please let your parents know they are not alone and many share their sorrow. And, please have them give Deke an extra hug from me.
