The past two days were particularly difficult for Dee and today it was evident that she was in pain and suffering.

With help of our wonderful Vet, Jenny, JR and I sent Dee to Rainbow Bridge this morning. She passed away peacefully on my lap and I kissed her right up until it was time to go.

I miss my little ray of sunshine. I adopted her right after my father passed away and I was here alone. It's seems fitting that she went to Rainbow Bridge only a few days after the 8th anniversary of my Father's death. He loved dogs and I hope they are together along with all of our other friends we have lost.

I hope Zach was waiting at RB for her wearing his clown suit to make her smile.

Shine on my little Dee. We'll look for you tonight in the Heavens as a shining star.
