Hi Everyone! Just wanted to give you an update. Jughead is definitely gaining weight, and looks much much better... he still comes and goes as he likes, but looks much much better. The neigbor dogs... well, we named them Romeo and Juliette... looks like the owner has moved and taken Romeo with him as none of us have seen hide nor hair of the guy who lived there OR of Romeo. It appears they have left Juliette behind. She and jughead are best friends, and they are here every morning for breakfast, and every afternoon for dinner. Where they go during the rest of the day is still a mystery. A couple of the guys here are going to build them a good sized dog house using scraps around the shop. So far it is designed with a plywood wall, a layer of insulation, and then another plywood wall. It was great to hear them excited about it. Being in construction will pay off in this instance. Both Jughead and Juliette seem to be doing well and thriving now. I think they are going to be "shop dogs" until spring when one of the guys plans to move into a house and take them with him. YEAH!! Just thought I'd share.

We've had some snow flurries here & I worry about our feral cat & how he'll do.

We had about 4 1/2 inces of snow on Tuesday which held over to Wednesday so the business was closed. Two of the guys drove out here in there 4x4's just to make sure that jughead and juliette had food and water. I work with good guys.

Erica, what a lovely thing that you and the shop guys are taking care of Jughead and Juliette. Actually, it's probably the perfect life for them....two square meals a day, folks to love on them, and freedom to do what they want. Hugs to you and your colleagues for caring for these two pooches, and I'm sorry Romeo didn't get to stay, as well....

Yep, it is sad that Romeo isn't still around. He was such a neat dog. He and Juliette were always together, so I know it must be hard for her, but at least she has Jughead. I must admit, I work with a great bunch of guys. I haven't seen either of my furry little friends today which is kind of unusual, but the weather is nice, so maybe they are off on an adventure.
