Vicki, I wash them by themselves, but it probably wouldn't hurt to throw a towel or two in there with them.

We wash ours with towels in the washing machine, or I hand wash them if our supply is running low. (I use dish soap.)

My husband used to work next to a senior citizens center tennis courts, so there were always plenty of tb's in the parking lot.

We use our Whirlpool front loader on the genntlest setting with no spin abd air dry. Works well.
