Brooke has gone to the bridge

It is with a heavy heart that I am posting to tell you that Brooke, Faith's only sister, went to the bridge this morning. She was only 7 years old and had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer (myeloma) last fall.

Brooke was the most laid back golden - quite the opposite of Faith actually. She was a tiny golden with the softest look on her face that I have ever seen. One of her favourite things to do was watch Animal Planet on TV. I've asked Debbie to post a few pictures of Brooke.

Godspeed sweet Brooke. You will be sadly missed.

Sandra, I'm so sorry to hear Brooke has gone to RB. She was such a pretty girl. I'm sure she was met at the Bridge by many of our pups, and Bill is taking good care of Brooke.

I am so very sorry to hear about Brooke. I know that she will leave a huge hole in Barb's heart. Let her know I'm thinking of her. She was such a beautiful girl. Here are a couple pictures Sandra sent:

Love both pictures but especially the one where Brooke is watching Animal Planet. She's a beautiful girl.

So sorry to hear the news about Brook. As with so many of our goldens, 7 years is much too young. My sympathies to you and her family.
