Re: scary

My husband's dog did this a lot, and I did some research on it, but I can't remember what the name of the condition was. We had to put him to sleep(because of the serious dog bite) before I got the chance to have it checked out.

Re: scary

Scary is right!! Never heard of a reverse sneeze, but I sure am glad he is okay. Nothing like being awakend from a sound sleep like that. Sure glad he is okay now. At least now if it happens again you will know what it is.

Re: scary

Jack did this many years ago. Turned out he had nasal polyps, which we had removed surgically.

Re: scary

I'm sure that your vet probably also told you that if it continues, maybe you should bring him in.

It sounds too much like Phoenix's problem, except that he would eventually "gack" and it was his bronchiectasis causing this problem.

I hope it was an isolated incident.

Regards,

PJ

ps We found that Phoenix was better when he did not have any dairy, like yogurt on his dinner.
