Abby is still a go-getter on our walks but less than perky after resting back at home or towards evening.

I'm so happy you have her with you still, on all those beautiful walks you have together. What a blessed dog and family, to walk where you do on this planet. Enjoy it all while you can and let her rest up when she needs to. Geez, it must be hard to be getting on in years and try to keep up with you. I know to leave her behind would be unthinkable while she could possibly do it. But being a Golden means they will try to hide anything wrong with them in order to keep up with the pack as best they can.
