Homophobic Jamaica

A young gay man was severely beaten after his father encouraged his fellow classmates to attack him. In the end all, including the careless parents and the mob that attacked the police, recieved a slap on the wrist...is this justice?

Re: Homophobic Jamaica

It breaks my heart to hear that people are still ignorant on the subject of gay and lesbian issues. For one, I pray that the young man that was beaten, will heal and forgive those who hurt him. Second, if they were to do that in anywhere else where they do not have a problem with gays, they would be under the jail scuba diving with the rats!!!

Also, people have to remember, people who are ignorant & take religion to the "village idiot" level, will cause problems for other people.

As for Jamaica, I will not go to a place where they accept that type of animalistic behavior. To end, the people who did the attacking of this young man, they will held accountable when they meet GOD.

Re: Homophobic Jamaica

I think his father did the right thing, homosexuality is unnatural and should not be condoned.homosexuality is a european(caucasian) practice and should remain confined to just them but as always we seem to follow all the do and it has now permeated our lives in some way,i love all those african countries that have banned this practice and hope they continue their stance

I disagree with you...doesn't matter if a person is whatever, no one should let that define who a person really is, on the inside or out.....
