I have an ancestor, born in New Mexico in 1794, who claimed to have fought with General Santa Anna in the battles for Texas Independance. I have found a list of Mexican Officers taken prisoner following the Battle of San Jacinto. He is not on that list. Does anyone know if a muster roll exists for regular soldiers of the Mexican army in that war?
