On the Gilmore Girls last week Rory had to go to counseling after returning to Yale. She broke down in hysterics while speaking to the counselor. Later while talking to Lorelai she said " I went Frances Farmer all over him" or something to that effect.

That reminds me of the hilarious Simpsons episode where Marge is looking at a scrapbook with Lisa and talking about (IIRC) her mother, who went crazy. Marge points to a group picture and says, "There's mom, with her best friends Zelda Fitzgerald, Frances Farmer and Sylvia Plath."
