My grandfather, Phillip Fowler, served during the 1st World War with the Kings Shropshire Light Infantry. I have a copy of his medal role which states that he was with the T2 Res.Bn. His number was 38559. Could any one tell me what this reference means and whether there is any information I can obtain. I have the History of the KSLI in the Great War but I cannot find and references.
