Would any one be able to help or advise?.
My Father was Pte Reginald Counsell Army number 3-6489
the only one of his medals that i have show this and states 1/Som.L,I.Aug 1914.Nov.
He was moved with 50 other men to The Worcester Regiment in early 1918 and served with the 9th Battalion in Macedonia & Russia in 1918 Army number 44549 (Worcesters)
I have been unable to find his early service with the Somersets from 1914, i have some other details but they do not seem to be about my Father.
