Message:		Hi D.R. - Perhaps. Even if you had turned in your green card, this is not sufficient to end your US residency status for tax purposes. You are required to file Form 8854 with the IRS and your residency does not end prior to the date of filing. You can find Form 8854 and instructions at www.irs.gov.
