Ji'in
Hi everyone, i thought i'd get the karateonline discussion forum going with a question on the kata ji'in. i was taught this kata as a 3rd kyu and it was one of our optional katas for brown and black belt gradings. i'm now with an association who consider Ji'in to be an optional kata at 4th Dan, more difficult than unsu and comparable to ****** an meikyo! What are peoples opinions on Ji'in, where does your style or association place it? And should we stop teaching it as the JKA recently decided they should! |
