question about Kiddy guardd safety gates

Has anyone used the Kiddy Guard roll-up gate? Does is work well?

It does work well - alot like a roller-shade, you do have to push a button to release the tension to open, or pull the gate out, but it does stay pretty tight across when hooked. We have it on our stairs with the banister kits and they are sturdy. They don't fit the big end banisters - I think the kit only goes up to banisters 2-1/2" in diameter, but it works for our 2 boys and dog.
