Yuba is one of those brands that seem to keep coming up but yet nobody knows much. I'm not sure where to go for info on Yuba, its Web site is no longer accessible.

Well I took my Yubas out for maiden voyage Sat. after I posted this. I walked in powder and crosscountry ski trails. I seemed to sink about 2-3 inches dressed in just my hooded sweat T with a coat over that while on powder. The trails made it squirrley with the shoes wandering into each othe due to the concavity of the trail. This happened in the hills south of Twin Falls, Idaho
I think these will be a blast.
