My boyfriend and I are new to snowshoeing. We'd like to rent before we buy but we're having trouble finding a place (mid-atlantic, east coast) that does.
Does anyone know a place in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington D.C. that RENTS snowshoes?
REI in College Park, MD rents snowshoes. You also might want to try Eastern Mountain Sports stores (EMS) in your area, as they often rent eqipment as well.
