Isaiah Barnett, Co. I, 26th Miss.

I have a reference the man named in the subject line served in the 7th Miss. I would like to know if he was a member of the 7th, or if he was on temporary duty. Below is the information I have. Any information appreciated

Barnett, Isaiah; 23 Nov 37-13 Jun 17; Myrtle Hill, Rome; transferred from I/26 Miss; WIA West Point, Miss May paroled Selma; born Russellville, Ala; brother of Benjamin F. Barnett, Van den Corput's (Ga) Art. Battery (in regular section, not Confederate section)

Thanks,
George

Re: Isaiah Barnett, Co. I, 26th Miss.

Hello George,

Unfortunately I don't have any info regarding your request. My great great grandfather was Madision T. Burton who was Captain of Company I. I was wondering if you had been able to find any info on Company I of the 26th. Please let me know if you do, or have any ideas where I might be able to find additional info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave Dunmar
