I am a long time student of the american civil war with a particular interest in Confederate regiments who saw service in both the western and eastern theaters of operations.

Can anyone give me some info on battleflags of the 26th? Any info and links will be appreciated.

Tom, thanks for the post. The only flag believed to have belonged to the 26th Miss is in a private collection. I'm past due on updating the site information I have on the flag(s) of the 26th. I will get my info together and post the update within the next couple of weeks.

BTW, I enjoyed visiting your website. I am always amazed at the widespread interest in the American Civil War. Best to you and your living history unit in Norway!

I just uploaded the information we have on the colors of the 26th Mississippi. Click on the HISTORY button and then "Flag of the 26th" in the navigation box.
