In my considered opinion as a BBC pundit, Id say its obvious from all the pre-match slagging that Celtic are bricking it, and all this posturing is to compensate for the lack of confidence they have in their own abilities.
On paper, The Brewery have the better squad, i mean, you only have to look at the bench with people like Cameron and Titch to know how much quality is in the first team.
The only thing The Brewery have been missing this season is consistency, which is OK because they're still a young team, however i dont think this will be a problem come Sunday morning.
That said, i think the neutral supporter is in for a treat.
Not only will we see the dazzling skill of some of The Brewerys young guns, we'll also be treated to enough defensive clowning from Celtic to fill my new 'Peacocks Footballing ****-ups' video.
Ill be taking my camcorder, thats for sure!
One thing that we dont want to see however is the type of tactics old men generally resort to when confronted with younger, fitter oppsition- putting the boot in.
With any luck the Celtic lads will show a bit of maturity and try and play The Brewery at their own game -Football!
My final prediction for Sunday morning?
Wylam Brewery 8 - 2 Wylam Celtic |
