Hi Paul
Just wondering if you you'd be interested in attending a 70's reunion this 15 Sept at DC. We have about 10 so far as confirmed including John Sanders (Maths Master) Would be good to catch after 32 years !!--- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- Replying to: Definitely no toast in my time apart from prefects & masters; Sundays was floury baps & hard boiled eggs, the pong from 150 eggs being opened at once still lives in my mind. The American chef was called John Douglas.
That song was sung to the tune of 'Scotland the Brave'.
I doubt we would have survived without the inexhaustible plates of bread & jam, known as 'buch' as I recall. |
