The school menu DC mid 1970's- A la DC IDO cafe-
Starter - None
Main course choice-
Dinner or Lunch-
Cold limp fish fingers X 2, plum tomato laver hot X 1, lumpy potatoes.
Or
Beef a la old cow, gravy brown thick and suspect, veg, string beans (lots of string from recycled rugby boots, mushy peas glowing green or cold cabbage.
or
Mince with different sauces cold, rice sticky, carrots tinned with other unknown vegetables.
Pudding-
Cake with unknown topping and lumpy custard, or leftovers from yesterday’s tea mixed with jam.
Drinks-
Water, stewed tea or water.
Breakfast-
Cold porridge with salt, cold toast no butter, ultra greasy sausage X 1, egg x 1 not sure from which bird. |
