Message:   Our holiday begins with opening a gift Christmas eve. When the kids and grandchildren aren't here we have been known to open all on Christmas eve. I love the Christmas tree. A few years back I left it up decorated until March. I had to get it down before Easter- the pastels of spring clash with the bright colors of Christmas. Christmas in our home is practical, we are anti Madison Avenue's approach to the holiday. We do not charge gifts and 90% of the gifts and decorations are purchased the DAY AFTER Christmas for the following year.

This year the kids hung the lights and wreaths and the grandchildren decorated the tree.

Wishing you all a Merry CHRISTMAS. A special thanks to the UACC for a great Christmas kick off last Saturday night. We even sang SILENT NIGHT.

Looking forward to reading more from you all here and at UNIONMAINE.NET
